In my experience at teaching, I remember that one day three of my students started fighting without any reason. At the beginning, I was kind of surprised because it was the first time that I saw kindergarten students fighting. I didn’t know what to do. They seemed to be good guys, but they didn’t. To deal with the situation, The teacher who was evaluating me helped me to control the class. Then, I took the three boys who started the fight, and I made them say sorry to her classmates. Also, I punished them for 20 minutes. I told them, “You won’t play a game because of your misbehaving.” Then, they were saying that it wasn’t fear, but after that, they started to behave in a better way though I continued having more problems with them in other classes.

I
talked to him, and I told him that saying nasty words is not good. Since that
day, every time that I noticed that he was saying those words; I caught his
attention saying, “If you do that again, you won’t play a funny game.” This
method worked for me.
There
were some moments in which my students were out of control because they
couldn’t understand some activities, and I had to change the activities. For
example, once, I developed an activity using the family as a topic. They had to
cut and colour some pieces of paper; the activity was called “the family
finger.” Because they couldn’t cut in an a good way each member of the family
finger, they started making a lot of noise, so I made them do another activity.
The
tips that the chapter 8 mentions are so useful; sometimes, we don’t notice, but
those tips can help us teach in a better way; also, It can be useful for
solving problem in different situations we are involved.
I
got a lot of situations at teaching my students, but generally, It was a good
experience. Every single kid was a complete world. I really enjoyed what I did
with them. They were so difficult to deal with, yet they made my days happy in
the classroom. I learned a lot from them; I realized that teaching is not that
easy, but from now on, I want to be better; I hope I become an excellent
teacher.
